The “Where’s the Cheese?” raffle tickets(NFTs) can be minted on any website that has the Selene Network software installed. The majority of the proceeds for the raffle go to those that download and install the Selene Network core code and those that sign up as Agents in the network.
Directing the proceeds
How you mint determines who receives the commissions!
The default Selene Network software honors the “agent=number” addition to to the URL that is used to fetch the page on the server. The number element should be the Founder or Partner Agent id number. When a valid agent number is provided on the URL, that number will also be reflected in the footer which shows the agent that will be used for minting.
If you want to make sure the correct website gets it’s commissions, you’ll want to mint on that website. The default install of the Selene Network software has a configuration file that gets set with the token id of the website NFT holder that will get credited for the mint.
Even if your favorite website has the Selene Network installed, it is unlikely that it will be found in their gallery. That’s no problem, just access the contract directly via the URL. Add “contract=0x9aff5efe24084fb7788472193afe734be775e4e4” to the URL and the Selene Network code will show you this raffle project. Note that any contract that is Selene Network compatible will be displayed using the default code (and URL parameter).
When you mint, the agent and website ids are recorded in the data section of the transaction on the Theta blockchain as hex numbers. This allows a level of transparency to the transaction that is generally not seen in centralized systems. You can always validate that the person you intended the funds to go to went there.
Cross Chain Minting – Coming soon
To support loyal Tfuel holders, the first raffle will only be mintable using Tfuel.
Not only is this project natively mintable in Tfuel in any Selene Network install, the version on this website uses the Cross Chain Minting functionality that allows purchase in ETH, BNB and POL. To take advantage of that functionality, click the home icon in the adjacent advertisement-like link-block.
That home link icon will take you to the ‘home’ page for minting using the PayWith Oracle on this website.
Please note that as long as you use the ‘agent=number‘ functionality when visiting the “Where’s the Cheese?” home page, the code should show you your agent id in the footer which represents which agent will be credited commissions for the mint.
After Minting
If you decide to pick up some of these raffle tickets, pay attention to your wallet and pay close attention to the image. If you win in a raffle, the metadata for the winning token will change – showing you that you are a winner and you’ve got to claim it so you don’t lose it. This change in the metadata will also show you what you won in the raffle. There are rules and restrictions, thus you should make sure you read the whitepaper closely.
If you win something that you don’t qualify for, that is your opportunity to sell/trade/give it to someone that can benefit from it – before the claim period runs out.
