The Agent smart contract handles the process of registering a sales agent for the Selene distributed sales Network.
Because Selene Network compatible NFTs allow project creators to offer commissions on sales, every NFT minted through the Selene Network validates that a sales agent id is provided and it is valid.
In order to get an Agent Id, you have to get your wallet address registered by someone that owns an Agent NFT or acquire one yourself. If you purchase an Agent NFT, you are automatically considered a Founding Agent in the network. Only Founding Agents can register Partner Agents on the smart contract.
To interact with the Agent smart contract please visit its home page via the Selene Network home icon (found on this page). On that webpage, you can Mint an Agent NFT, register someone else’s wallet as an agent and look up agent ids.
If the Metamask wallet address that you use for browsing Selene Network enhanced websites is registered as an agent of the network, the Selene Network code will show you the commissions that projects offer and allow you to withdraw any balance that is recorded for you.
