With memberships, any Metamask account can renew or extend any membership token. If the membership is active, any value provided will be added as intrinsic value balance, which buys time for the member token. If the account is inactive, the renew fee will be deducted from the value provided and then any remaining Tfuel will be added as intrinsic value balance.
Cross chain minting is made possible by MetaMask's ability to support multiple blockchains within a single account. The account that is currently connected to this page is the account that should issue the payment blockchain coin AND it will be the account that receives the resulting Theta NFT. After the button launches MetaMask, do not change accounts until the payment is completed. Note that changing the network does not change your account. Your account remains the same account, but it's now active on the other blockchain.
Because the Theta blockchain is currently active, when you press the perspective button, this website will launch MetaMask requesting a change of blockchain. After the change, MetaMask will be launched a second time to request payment. Please validate that the payment amounts look correct. After you 'confirm' the payment there is a 20 second delay where the page stalls waiting for the transfer completion notification. After that delay, the webpage will launch MetaMask a third time to switch back to the Theta network.
Cross chain minting is done by an oracle that runs on a 15-minute cadence. When you 'confirm' your payment, an order is logged on the server which will be processed by the off-chain oracle. The status of the outstanding order is displayed above the buttons below. When the order is completed, the NFT will be displayed below.
